This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.Requirements

Regions’ Government Affairs InternRegions’ Government Affairs team directs the company’s legislative, political and regulatory policy activities, spearheads advocacy efforts with various federal and state legislative bodies and executive and regulatory agencies, leads the company’s efforts to communicate with elected and appointed officials at the federal and state levels, and manages economic development in Alabama. Government Affairs also coordinates the grassroots activities of Regions’ associates and manages Regions’ political action committee (PAC).The Government Affairs Intern will be based in Washington, D.C. and report to the office in D.C. The intern will work closely with the Head of Government Affairs & Economic Development, Public Policy Manager, Regulatory Affairs Manager, State Government Affairs & Economic Development Manager, and PAC Program Manager.Regulatory Policy Responsibilities
