Description: If you are a current University of Northern Iowa employee and would like to apply for this position, login to UNI Works and type “Find Jobs” in the search bar to view and apply for open positions.Full Consideration Date: 02/14/2025Job Description:Primary Function: Coordinates and implements all educational programs of Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) including the Kaleidoscope Series for Youth, school performances, artist residencies, community outreach activities, and pre/post-performance activities; responsible for budget development and management for the education and special programs; assists in the development of marketing content for the education programs, residency materials and study guides; researches and writes grants for education programs; leads GBPAC special projects and collaborative projects with outside partners; serves as contact person and communicator to outreach constituencies and stakeholders; and serves as Manager on Duty for events.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, a performing arts discipline, arts management or related field plus at least three years of program planning or related experience required. Master’s degree in arts administration; experience in arts education; and grant writing experience preferred. Occasional evening and weekend work will be necessary.
