This role requires strategic counsel to management, alignment with business objectives, corporate strategies, and marketing communications tactics. The individual will supervise staff and vendors, oversee budgets, and provide strategic insights on marketing communications opportunities and issues. Responsibilities include integrated promotional campaigns, interfacing with various stakeholders, and leveraging key infrastructure support departments to ensure consistent messaging and coordination. The candidate will also demonstrate high-performance team leadership and teambuilding skills.Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency with computers,
- Strong project management and facilitation skills. Excellent presentation and client service skills
- Experience supervising ad agencies and freelancers
- Expertise in strategic integrated campaigns and creativity
- 2-3 years of professional experience in communication, marketing, employee communication, physician communication, healthcare project management, or social media
Job Responsibilities:
- Counsel management on marketing communications opportunities, issues, and strategies
- Identify and understand functional and operational attributes of institutes and corporate priorities
- Translate insights into annual and multi-year marketing communications campaign plans
- Direct the development, approval, production, implementation, and evaluation of branding and marketing communications strategies
- Work with line management and coordinate with service line and marketing leaders
- Supervise staff and freelance contributors in planning, writing, editing, and production
- Oversee deadlines, budgets, printing, web/AV production, and special events logistics
- Support intra-departmental needs, including media on-call duties and assistance during crises
