The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Developer, Web Applications for our Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).Starting base salary = $76,000- $95,000- $114,000 (commensurate with related experience). The AHA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.The Developer, Web Applications is responsible for participating in the development, implementation and support of the organizations’ web applications. Provides timely technical support to customers. Performs project management for assigned projects that includes gathering business requirements and developing project plans. This position is part of the Information Technology Web & Mobile Solutions team and collaborates frequently with other teams and individuals across the organization, as well as external vendors. * Develop and program within Drupal using an open-source LEMP stack, incorporating custom object-oriented PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Experience with object-oriented PHP, CMS development (Drupal), MySQL, Git, web standards, front-end technologies, and web services.
