  • The pay for this position is $193.00 per hour.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Law Enforcement Psychologist Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
  • The required availability for this position is flexible, with varying shifts from Monday to Friday based on employee schedules and psychologist availability.

Law Enforcement Psychologist Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological evaluations for law enforcement personnel.
  • Conduct annual counseling sessions, provide individual guidance, and recommend ongoing therapy if necessary.
  • Evaluate suitability, progress, and formulate individual prognosis for law enforcement personnel.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct videoconferencing sessions as required.

Law Enforcement Psychologist Requirements

  • Possession of a current license to practice Psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychological evaluations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of documented experience providing psychological services to law enforcement agencies.
  • Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Must pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
  • Must be located within Pennsylvania.
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.

Law Enforcement Psychologist Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience addressing mental health symptoms associated with law enforcement personnel who investigate child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
