Description: Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Python/AWS Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in Rockville, MD.This position is hybrid (2 days/week onsite).Responsibilities:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience required in design, develop, and deploy large scale applications using Python is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of working experience required using Flask, FastAPI, Django, REST APIs, SQLAlchemy, Pandas, NumPy, Mangum is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of working experience required using Cloud development, management and provisioning on AWS is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of working experience required on AWS Services like API Gateway, Lambda, SNS,SQS, S3, EC2/ECS is strongly preferred.
