Description: Job Description:Open Rank Position (Tenured/Tenure Track) for Clinician Scientist in Alzheimer’s Diseaseat Wake Forest University School of MedicineWe seek an applicant with an M.D. and an established record of publications, funding, and experience in clinical trials and clinical research in Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders for a tenure-track faculty position (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). U.S. licensed candidates with relevant experience in Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders from all clinical specialty areas will be considered (i.e., Geriatrics, Neurology or Psychiatry).Wake Forest University School of Medicine (WFUSM) has designated Alzheimer’s disease as one of six prioritized research focus areas, which also include Aging, Neurosciences, Diabetes/Obesity, Cardiovascular Disease, and Health Equity. The candidate will also play a leadership role in clinical research conducted by the WFUSM NIH-funded Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center of Excellence, one of only 35 such Centers, creating an immediate connection to Alzheimer’s programs at premier academic institutions across the nation.
