Description: We are seeking a talented Akeneo Architect to support PIM projects for multiple clients in a remote capacity. This role offers the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders and lead technical teams while working on innovative eCommerce solutions.Responsibilities

  • Develop and architect Akeneo solutions, particularly for retail clients.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders within client organizations to understand their needs.
  • Lead technical and non-technical delivery teams, ensuring project success.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Participate in scalable website and web application development.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to create estimates and pitch proposals.
  • Design, develop, and consume APIs (REST, GraphQL).
  • Work with relational databases and write advanced SQL queries.
  • Provide oversight for assigned projects with minimal supervision.
  • Present at industry conferences and contribute to articles and blog posts.

Skills

  • Proven experience in developing and architecting Akeneo solutions.
  • Strong understanding of PIM and MDM platforms.
  • Experience with eCommerce and CMS platforms.
  • Client-facing experience in an agency setting.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end development frameworks (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React, Angular).
  • Experience designing and developing APIs.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in PIM/MDM platforms (e.g., Akeneo, Enterworks, Salsify).
  • Familiarity with various eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, etc.).
  • Exposure to Data Management platforms (PIM, MDM, DAM).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (AEM, Drupal).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft).
