Description: The following position is open for the Rock Island/Milan School District #41 – Head Start Program.Preschool Assistant Teacher – Head Start Program
Assist the Head Start teacher with planning, scheduling, and implementing a developmentally appropriate experience for preschool children, focusing on positive and engaging interactions according to the Head Start Program Performance Standards.Salary Information:
The salary range is approximately $16.56 to $21.86 per hour, according to education and experience placement on the Assistant Teacher Salary Schedule.Qualifications:
· An associate’s degree in Child Development is preferred
· High School Diploma or equivalency certificate with Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in progressWork Schedule:
