In this role, you will help the team discover creative and sustainable ways to solve business challenges and improve our software capabilities and functionality. You will have extensive knowledge and experience of ServiceNow’s ITSM modules, the CMDB and ServiceNow’s Common Service Data model (CSDM). You will contribute your expertise designing and building first-class solutions to meet evolving business requirements. And, you will be working alongside a supportive and fast-paced team with numerous opportunities to increase your professional knowledge and expertise. Bring your passion for developing creative solutions and elegant coding to CrowdStrike.What You’ll Do:Develop, test, and document working custom development, integrations, and data migrations for ServiceNow features, applications and projectsTranslate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the ServiceNow platformManage CMDB health, integrations, Discovery, and Service MappingDesign and develop a workflow framework that can be applied to many workflows and continuously seek new opportunities to improve our current manual processesParticipate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being usedExecute test plans to ensure quality solutions are deliveredCommunicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deploymentProvide detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for assigned tasksHandle Incidents per published SLAs, ensuring system stability by maintaining required maintenance tasks, and address any system issues impacting SLAs or platform healthMaintain a flexible and proactive work environmentWhat You’ll Need:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience, typically 5+ years of IT Service Management / ServiceNow experienceAt least three years of software development and two years of ServiceNow application developmentGood understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM)Solid experience working with CMDB in ServiceNow.ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certificationServiceNow Certified Application Developer certificationSelf-motivated and creativeUnderstanding of how to build reusable, lightweight code in JavaScript, including writing comprehensive tests to ensure code coverageWorking knowledge of at least 2 years experience writing JavaScript codeAt least 2 years of experience implementing a specific ServiceNow module such as CMDB, HR, Service Portal, ITSM etc.Experience developing REST/SOAP APIExperience with ServiceNow version control and update setsExperience with ServiceNow upgrades and skipped update remediationStrong problem solving abilities and communication skillsExperience with SDLC methodologies like Agile, Kanban, Scrum, Scaled AgileSecurity minded and strong working knowledge of vulnerabilitiesBonus Points:Experience of ServiceNow’s Software and Hardware Asset Management moduleCertified Implementation Specialist certification in one of the OOTB ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, etc.)ITIL V3 / V4 Foundation or above#LI-Remote#LI-NA1Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-friendly and flexible work cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsComprehensive physical and mental wellness programsCompetitive vacation and holidays for rechargePaid parental and adoption leavesProfessional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or roleEmployee Resource Groups, geographic neighbourhood groups and volunteer opportunities to build connectionsVibrant office culture with world class amenitiesGreat Place to Work Certified™ across the globeCrowdStrike is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
