  • We are seeking a dedicated Wetland Scientist with 5+ years of relevant industry experience. This role involves a mix of office and field work, providing an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, public, non-profit facility, and linear utility and transportation projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in environmental remediation, ecology, environmental construction, environmental compliance, soil characterization, restoration, habitat assessments, mitigation sites, and/or forest conservation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct wetland delineation field work.
  • Manage projects independently, including field work and project management.
  • Handle wetland impact permitting.
  • Utilize GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD for project tasks.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Travel periodically for project needs.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of related wetland experience, including wetland delineation field work, project management, and wetland impact permitting.
  • Proficiency in GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently.
  • Ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel periodically.
