Raleigh Divorce Law Firm is looking for an experienced Family Law Associate to support our growing practice.Our Firm provides the highest quality of legal services to our clients. Our team will provide in-depth, ongoing training on a broad range of skills including drafting pleadings, handling discovery, trial preparation, and working with clients to develop effective strategies tailored to the needs of their case. Candidates should be able to work successfully in a team environment and have the ability to accept constructive feedback and mentoring from experienced attorneys.Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research on various family law issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, and discovery requests
• Assist other attorneys in trial preparation and case management
• Communicate with clients in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain organized case files and documentation in accordance with Firm protocols
• Communicate effectively and professionally with court staff, opposing counsels, and other parties involved in cases
• Represent clients in settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in NC
• At least 5 years of experience as a Family Law Associate
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Strong writing skills
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and local court rules
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Maturity and positive attitude
• Litigation experience and ability to effectively represent clients in the courtroom
