This year, we were voted one of the 25 Best Places to Work in Washington DC by the Washington Business Journal!POSITION DESCRIPTION:Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing government contracting company seeking a Financial Asset Investigator to provide expert auditing and accounting services and complex investigative analysis for civil cases.JOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Conducts audits and financial investigations for civil cases.
• Handles financial accounting examination of the books, records, computer and electronic data.
• Obtains evidence through interrogation.
• Prepared concise and accurate audit reports.
• Assist in analysis and compilation of documents and physical evidence to be used in litigation.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL

• Must be able to obtain a favorable adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
• Must be a US Citizen.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION CRITERIA

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or another related field.
• CPA certification not required but preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in financial asset investigations.
• Preferred experience working with federal or state legal or law enforcement entity.
• Proficiency in databases such as Choice Point, Autotrack, TECS, FinCEN/BSA Portal, CLEAR, THREADS, Accurint, ISYS, Lexis-Nexis, PACER, CourtLink, WestLaw, NADA, Used Price.com, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well within groups handling large volumes of work.
• Ability to work independently.
