Description: Overview:Snyder & Associates seeks a landscape architect to join our Land Development work group in Ankeny, IA. This position will work on various assignments and projects under the direction of an experienced landscape architect or project manager, primarily in the areas of site development, parks and recreation, athletic facilities and landscape design.Over , Snyder & Associates has grown to become a large regional civil engineering and planning firm in the Midwest. • Designs, develops, and modifies drawings for site development and landscape architecture projects.
• Prepares plan documents according to established standards.
• Develops solutions to technical problems.
• Prepares design concepts, design development drawings, and construction documents. Includes the preparation of colored presentation graphics and drawings.
• Must be dependable, attentive to work quality, teamwork and individual contribution.
• Sensitivity to deadlines

Qualifications:ExperienceThis is an entry level position – no minimum experience is required. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively work with people at all levels in a project team.TechnologyBroad technical experience preferred. Must demonstrate competency in using AutoCAD. Must demonstrate competency in using graphic design software such as Adobe Suite, including In-Design, and Illustrator as both a design tool and in the preparation of drawings/images for a wide range of project illustrationsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture is required.EOE /AA / E-Verify
