Description: Job Description:The Web Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of web-based applications that serve the Nemours Biomedical Research Informatics Center (BRIC) and the Delaware Clinical and Translational Research (CTR) programs. This role spans the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, interface design, coding, testing, documentation, maintenance, and user support. Additionally, the role involves assisting with systems administration tasks, including upgrading and maintaining LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python) software on servers.The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, effective communication with non-technical users, and a commitment to delivering robust, innovative solutions aligned with research and organizational needs.Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with one or more web development frameworks is required (i.e. Django, Laravel, React).
  • If hold a Master’s Degree, minimum one year of experience is required; if hold a Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of 3 years of experience is required
  • Expertise in at least three of the following technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, SQL, MVC, Docker, Python (Django, Flask), PHP, Laravel, Git, API
  • Proficiency with application software testing (unit, integration, and application-level). Familiarity with QA Testlans and QA Methodologies.
