Job Opportunity: Teacher’s Assistant at Montessori School in Chevy Chase, DCAre you passionate about working with young children in a nurturing, hands-on learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated Teacher’s Assistant to join our Montessori team in Chevy Chase, DC! If you enjoy supporting children’s growth and development and are ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!Position Details:

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Starting Pay: Starting at $18 per hour
• Location: Chevy Chase, DC

Requirements:

• Must have a CDA (Child Development Associate) or an Associate’s Degree.
• Must enjoy working with children aged 18 months to 6 years old.
• Comfortable with changing diapers and providing care as needed.
• Outdoor recess is an essential part of our day, so applicants should be comfortable spending time outside in all seasons.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in creating a positive, nurturing, and educational Montessori environment.
• Support children’s learning by helping with activities, classroom setup, and individual or group tasks.
• Supervise children during meals, naps, and outdoor playtime.
• Ensure children’s safety and well-being throughout the day.
