Description: Bethany School seeks a Long term substitute Art Teacher beginning January 2025. Successful candidates are culturally competent, responsible, caring, and enthusiastic people who possess content area and pedagogical knowledge in art education, as well as in ways these areas intersect with other content areas such as art and music. Successful candidates will also demonstrate understanding of the developmental characteristics of children in the elementary, intermediate, middle school grade levels (1-8) and will have had positive experiences working with students within these grade levels. Prior experience implementing a social emotional learning/advisory curriculum is a preferred qualification.
